What you’re learning
- Number names (1–10)
- One-to-one counting (one point = one count)
- Cardinality (the last number said is the total)
- Matching numerals to quantities
Helpful tips
- Count slowly and clearly together.
- Touch each emoji as you say the number word.
- Repeat with Play for extra practice.
- Say the sentence at the end: “There are ___!”
Make it trickier
- Guess the total before playing—then check.
- Count backward from the number shown.
- Ask: “How many more to make 10?”
- Close your eyes and try to remember the number.
Tip for grown-ups: Each number uses the same kind of emoji (e.g., 5 bananas), which helps kids connect the numeral, the word, and the amount. On phones/tablets, tap Start first so audio plays smoothly.
